Ahmadi Student Lynched in Pakistan

"Hostel warden Muhammad Ali, recounting the incident, claimed that: "Three to four thousand students were approaching. I was alerted that they were approaching, so I closed the gates but they broke in, found Mashal and fired at him and started beating him."

A Pakistani college student was murdered by a mob at a university in Pakistan because he posted Ahmadi literature on social media. That is considered blasphemy in Pakistan, which does not recognize Ahmadis as Muslims.

This is another example of how Ahmadi Muslims are persecuted by Sunni majorities in countries like Pakistan.

When people of two religions cannot live together in peace, partition might be the best solution. As for me, Pakistan is a pile of garbage.

It wasn't a pile of garbage before partition. And people of two or four religions do live together in a good deal more peace than people of even one religion find in Pakistan.

And what was it before partition-under British rule, right? What you have in Pakistan is a minority Ahmadiya Muslim population being persecuted by the majority Sunnis because the former (here we go again) claim a later prophet from the 19th century. So when they are not accusing Christians of blasphemy so the mobs can lynch them, they do the same to Ahmadiyas.

Wonderful society.

Like I said, that's not how its always been. That was inculcated, incubated, cultivated, over time, starting probably after 1970 for the most part.

How about when Islam came to that part of the world?
