A German Reaction to the Death of Maria Ladenburger

Hat tip Politically Incorrect and Gates of Vienna

It has been a horrible year for Germany. It began New Years Eve in Cologne when migrants went on a rampage and sexually assaulted hundreds of women outside the train station next to the city's iconic cathedral (Dom). During the year more women were raped and people were killed either in terrorist attacks or singularly by individual men answering the call of ISIS. Now in December, a young woman named Maria Ladenburger, the daughter of a high-ranking EU official has been raped and murdered  allegedly be a 17-year-old Afghan refugee. The nation is sickened and outraged. And yet, the political elite led by Angela Merkel dismisses the anger as Islamophobia and anti-immigrant racism.

Wolfgang  Hübner has written a very eloquent piece in the German blog, Politically Incorrect, which has been translated and cross-posted by Gates of Vienna.

Hopefully, the writer won't be prosecuted in Germany for some type of hate speech violation. Germany has a federal enforcement office called the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, principally designed to deal with neo-Nazis and homespun terrorist groups like the old Baader-Meinhof gang. Maybe they should reexamine the name of their agency.
