SF State Refuses to Lower Flag for Shimon Peres

When former Israeli prime minister Shimon Peres recently died, President Obama ordered US flags to be lowered to half staff. One university apparently ignored that and kept their flags at full staff. That university was, of course, San Francisco State.

San Francisco State, under the leadership of President Les Wong, has firmly aligned itself with the Palestinian cause. Palestinian professor Rabab Abdulhadi and the General Union of Palestinian Students pretty much have the run of the campus. As documented over recent years, that means any expression of support for Israel will be met with disruption and intimidation. This is what Les Wong allows on his campus.
