Stanford Professor Sticks His Foot in His Mouth

Poor Stanford University Professor David Palumbo-Liu. He just can't avoid sticking his foot in his mouth. Now he is accusing the AMCHA Initiative and other pro-Israel voices of "intimidating" critics of Israel on campuses.

Let's be plain: If there is any intimidation going on in our universities-and there is- it is Jewish students who support Israel who are being intimidated. Jewish students do not disrupt pro-Palestinian events. They do not assault pro-Palestinian students. Pro-Israel professors (what few there are) do not ridicule pro-Palestinian students in their classes. When swastikas appear on campuses, they do not serve to intimidate Arab or pro-Palestinian students.

I caught this guy's act at UC Irvine last January when he stated that the State Department's definition of anti-Semitism applied to any criticism of Israel (which it does not).

This is a man who cannot back up his assertions. Instead, when challenged, he turns tail and runs.
