Right on time, CAIR trots out its form letter template condemnation of the terror attack in Nice. Of course, no "condemnation" is complete without taking the offense and crying Islamophobia. Thus, we have CAIR's missive on the attack in Nice. Just fill in the blanks and it's ready for publication. The Investigative Project on Terrorism also has a report on a tweet in Arabic by CAIR CEO Nihad Awad, in which he blasts Francois Hollande's statement and he (Awad) asks, "What is Islamic about this crime?"

What was Islamic was the fact that the killer, a man of Tunisian origin named Mohammad was yelling, "Allahu Akhbar" as he plowed through the crowd. At least Awad didn't try to argue that the killer's brakes must have failed.
CAIR also used the occasion of the "condemnation" to blast Newt Gingrich for saying that the US should keep believers of sharia law out of the US.
You gotta hand it to Awad. He is one slick character.
