The Pope's Reference to "Some Religions"

Image result for pope francis

I honestly don't know what to make of Pope Francis. I know he genuinely cares about the poor and is trying to reduce the luxurious life styles of his cardinals and bishops. Yet, I am put off by his lecturing us on the need to accept all these tens of thousands of young men in their 20s who are flooding into the West to either jump on the welfare band wagon or set off bombs in our streets. That may not be true of most of them, of course, but why should we sacrifice our lives to try and sort out the good from the bad? Boston, Paris, Brussels-we never learn.

Now Francis comes forth and and laments the slaughter of Christians in the Middle East. (At least I think he is referring to the Middle East.) That is all well and good . After all, his voice is supposed to represent the moral conscious of the world even if the jihadis could care less what he says. Yet, he continues to play the politically correct line as he refers to the "expressions of fundamentalism" and "terrorist acts committed by followers of some religions which profane the name of God and which use the holy name to justify their unprecedented violence."

Some religions? Dear Francis, aside from Islam, what other religions are you talking about here? Even if you add those religions who do not worship a monotheistic God, who are you talking about?

Let us be clear: Islam is the only religion whose followers are carrying out terroristic acts in the name of God-or in the name of anything else for that matter. It is beyond time that we drop this political correctness that preaches that Islam is a religion of peace. It is not. It is a political ideology with a veneer of religion, one that teaches hate for other religions, violence and supremacy. I guarantee you that Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, who has a PhD in Islamic Studies, knows a lot more about Islamic doctrine than Pope Francis.

Or Barack Obama, for that matter, but I digress.

Fortunately, for us, most Muslims are secular to the point that they take a pass on joining the jihad. Unfortunately for us, very few choose to put their lives on the line to actually try and destroy or even discredit the likes of ISIS and Al Qaeda-not to mention Hamas, Hezbollah and other like-minded groups in Pakistan and other places in the Islamic world. In addition, while some in the Muslim communities have passed information about radicals or plots onto the FBI and police, the so-called "leaders" (CAIR, MPAC etc), are not cooperating. Instead they are spreading false propaganda and charging bias and hate crimes (oft-times fabricated) against Americans.

Frankly, I am getting tired of  of listening to Western Muslim "leaders", who "condemn" the acts of terror, offer their condolences to the victims, and then tell us not to be Islamophobic because this is not what Islam teaches.

No? How many verses from the Medina period of the Koran do we have to recite that order Muslims to "slay the idolaters wherever they find them" (Sura  9 verse 5)?  How about the Hadith (the quoted sayings of Mohammad)? "I have been made victorious through terror", or "I am the prophet who laughs when killing my enemies".

About 60% of the Koran talks about non-Muslims, and most of it is not too complimentary-especially if recorded during the Medina period when Mohammad was spreading Islam at the point of a sword. Yet, even the Ahmadi Muslims in the West, who have a pretty clean track record when it comes to violence, follow the party line that Mohammad was a kind and forgiving man who released his enemies (those who were not beheaded).

No longer can we accept the line that Islamophobia comes from ignorance. On the contrary, the more you learn about political Islam, Sharia law, the Koran, the Hadith, the life of Mohammad, and the entire 1400-year history of Islam, the more horrifying  it all is. I mean, what can you say about a religion that has a death penalty for those who leave it?

What we are seeing in Europe should be a final warning to the US. We are about ten years behind what is happening in Europe. It is time for drastic measures, and I say this with all due concern for the innocent American Muslims living among us. Their rights must be protected until they are found to be on the other side.

It is here that Donald Trump is correct. Until we can get a handle on this problem, Muslim immigration to the US should be suspended. The Europeans should have figured this out years ago, and they are now paying the price in blood.

US mosques must be closely monitored for radical speech and activity. Some anti-Jihad organizations estimate the percentage of mosques where hateful, subversive ideology is being preached against the US and the West at 70-80%. I don't know if that is accurate, but even if it is 10%, it is alarming.

It is also time that the Justice Department open a full scale investigation into organizations like CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, MPAC and others. I have heard that the US Attorneys Office in Dallas has enough to spread their prosecutions beyond the 2007 Holy Land Foundation trial, in which CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator. If that is true, it is clear that it will take a Republican administration in 2017 to untie their hands

As for the refugees, they should be held in camps in the region, which could be secured by friendly Arab governments and NATO. Once Syria and Iraq's wars are settled, they should be returned to their homes. Of course, I would support admitting Christian refugees into the West since they are the real refugees who are under deadly threat. Call it religious discrimination if you want. I don't care.

As for ISIS, the West can no longer put its head in the sand or pretend that pin-prick air strikes will win this war. It is time for shock and awe on the ground and in the air with NATO and our Sunni allies in the region providing land troops as well. That means Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf states. ISIS fighters in the West must be rounded up and made to disappear.  The world is going to need more GITMOS. In addition, Europe needs to start deportations against any who are not assimilated and trustworthy. Of course, all this will require new governments in Western Europe who are willing to protect their people. I am talking about Germany, Belgium, Austria, Holland, UK, France, Sweden, Denmark and Norway for starters.

This is rapidly becoming a battle for our survival and our freedoms. Tell that to the Pope.

Plus Buddhists don't even believe in God, thus they don't say God orders them to do anything. When I lived in Thailand, I saw Buddhists do all sort sof bad things, like traffic in drugs and commit crimes. They did not attempt to justify it by their religion.

Squid, stop displaying your ignorance in public, its embarrassing. And cool it with the studied insults, then I could stop lobbing them back at you. It is true that Buddhist militants have not targeted the United States and Europe. For now, their homicidal attention is focused on their near neighbors. Truth be told, the raw numbers are more in the immediate neighborhoods of Daeshestan and Pakistan, with the attacks in Europe being kind of outliers, which is why they are a bit of a jolt when they happen.

Gary's stated point was that no religion but Islam contains homicidal components in either its teachings or its nominal adherents. That is false. As for teachings, we all know that Jewish and Christian teachings can also be put to homicidal uses, but y'all lamely whine that that hasn't happened for a long time (skipping over the assassination of Yitzahk Rabin, e.g.) The truth is, Jews haven't been in a position to commit such atrocities for a long time, but the necessary attitudes are incubating among the illegal settlements, which are havens for religious fanaticism and self-righteous homicide. As for Christians, well at present our fanatics don't have much of a vacuum to operate in, but some are fully capable of acting rather like Daesh if they ever have such a vacuum.

It is true that Buddhists don't say God ordered them to do it. What they do say is "You are not like us, therefore you must go away or die." Do you think the resulting mourners and refugees are consoled by the fact that an order from the Almighty was not attached to their suffering?

The only place where you can make a case that Buddhists are persecurting Muslims is Burma.

Facts are facts Siarlys, whether you accept them or not. I state facts and you have a very hard time with that.

Squid defines his twisted opinions as facts, and then complains that people with functional minds have a very hard time with that. It must be great to be the ultimate tautologist. Whatever you believe is right.

Gary, have you forgotten Sri Lanka (where the victims were Hindu).
