Jeh Johnson Learns the Truth

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/12/17/johnson-yes-terrorists-could-try-to-exploit-refugee-system.html?intcmp=hpbt1

It is a "Hitler Learns......." parody moment. DHS chief Jeh Johnson has conceded what the rest of us have known for a long time. Indeed, ISIS killers could infiltrate themselves among those so-called Syrian refugees.

This means there is no justification for continuing with this refugee madness.

Period.

BTW Gary--do you know what happened to Siarlys?? I kind of miss not having the curmudgeonly, misguided old socialist to kick around every now and then.

Yes, it is high time to stop the refugee madness, as well as a lot of other stuff. I swear, I alternate between two opinions on this Obama bunch.

Sometimes I am able to put it off merely to a combination of gross incompetence, political correctness, and just being "over their heads" as to what is really going on. At other times, possibly being a conspiracist, I am convinced that it is all intentional, and is all according to some grand plan/scheme to have the country, perhaps even the world, fall to Islamic extremists, a la parts of Asia, Africa, Europe, and even a few areas (at least so far) in America.

Us old white folks are expected to be thick-skinned and immune to criticism, slurs, etc. However, in the case of minorities, especially Muslims these days, it seems to me that inordinate attention/over-reaction occur in response to the slightest perceived anti-Muslim comment, whether or not it is real.

Elwood,

I tried to reply to the above, but apparently was unsuccessful as I was in Mexico. I don't know about Siarlys, and I hope he is OK.

Siarlys has been busy with peak demands at work, moving all the furniture around to upgrade a rehab home, and taking some time to celebrate Christmas as it should be celebrated now that I have space to do so, as well as a couple of chess tournaments to supervise some kids at. I must say that Gary's coverage was getting a bit repetitive, and therefore boring. Glad to see he's found some new things to write about, although the food fight at Oberlin was thoroughly covered at The American Conservative, so I'm tapped out commenting on that subject. And that Hillsdale choir was beautiful.

You don't need a thick skin elwood. Just dodge the bullet and stop calling yourself "white."
