This question was raised by Guy Benson on Megyn Kelly's show tonight on Fox News.
After Marco Rubio called Hillary Clinton a liar for claiming the Benghazi attack was a protest over a video, the Washington Post Fact Checker gave him two Pinocchios.
But as Benson pointed out, a Clinton campaign spokesman was actually quoted in the above article denying Clinton ever blamed the video.
"Josh Schwerin, a Clinton spokesman, said, “Rubio’s statement that she ever said the video was the cause is false.”
If Mr. Schwerin was quoted accurately, that raises a fascinating point. Is Hillary Clinton now claiming she never blamed the video for the Benghazi attack?
That takes us to at least three family members of the victims who were present at Andrews Air Force Base on September 14 when the bodies were returned home. They have publicly stated that Hillary (and others) told them directly that the video was the cause of the attack.
Surely in the next day or two some reporter will ask her for clarification.
