Homework in Utah

If you think schoolkids in Utah are immune from the insane attempts of educators to curry favor from Muslims, think again. In this Utah middle school, kids were assigned homework to-you'd better be sitting down for this- make up ISIS recruitment posters.

I suppose academic freedom means teachers can't be fired for even this, but maybe this teacher could be assigned other duties-like running the pencil sharpener office.

In another account of this boondoggle (which I of course can no longer find), the school refers to the teacher as being "young and naïve". Maybe so. If so, perhaps she should have gotten a few of the rough edges knocked off and a little bit of real world experience before running her head.

Yeah, as the old saying goes, when you are young and have no heart, you must be a conservative/Republican; when you are older and have no brain, you must be a liberal/Democrat.
