The Stop Iran Now Rally in San Diego

Hat tip JJ

I was planning to attend one of the Stop Iran Now rallies in LA or San Diego sponsored by Stand With Us on July 26, but was unable to.  One of the speakers at the San Diego event was Micha Danzig, a San Diego attorney, former Israeli Defense Force soldier, and board member of TEAM San Diego (Training and Education About the Middle East). Below in the Times of Israel is the text of Mr Danzig's speech. He draws a parallel between the recent deal signed with Iran and the 1938 Munich agreement. I urge you to read it and send it on.

Great speech, Mr Danzig! I wish I could have been there to hear it.

That's a foolish analogy, as I already explained when Gary made it.

I think it's a valid analogy. You cannot negotiate with evil. Munich proved that.

No... Munich proved that if someone has published a book announcing their intention to militarily occupy the entire continent of Europe, and you dismember a country or two to pave the way for them, they won't take you seriously as a military opponent.

Everyone who negotiates, is going to be negotiating with something short of virtue, and often with evil. When and why would you do that? If you can't eliminate the evil at an acceptable price, and you have something they want, and you can limit their reach by entering into such an agreement. Think about it -- all we've employed is economic sanctions... and Iran wants access to the world markets badly enough to tone down their nuclear program. As long as they want something we can cut off, they'll keep the deal -- and for no other reason.

They won't keep the deal and we won't re-impose the sanctions. We are led by weaklings.

Conjectural at best... or maybe you're just a whiner.
