Hillary Wows'em in New York

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/06/13/clinton-formally-launches-2016-campaign-with-focus-on-economic-equality/?intcmp=HPBucket

So Her Imperial Highness launched her political campaign yesterday in New York by telling the crowd the real reason she is running for president is to help them enjoy prosperity.

Right.

The only person she has helped enjoy prosperity is herself. She wants to be prersident because she wants to be president. Period.

There was also this gem:

"I was there in the Situation Room when we got Bin Laden."

Hillary, the only people who were "there" were the Seal Team members who were at Bin Laden's compound in  Pakistan when  THEY killed him.

Her foreign policy? She believes we should be talking to the people of countries and not just their governments.

Was that a reference to Egypt and Israel?

And that trade deal everyone including Bernie Sanders is demanding she voice an opinion on?  Silence.

There she is, Ladies and gentlemen. Hillary Clinton.

This really is insanity - no? Does she think just because she sat in the room while the event happened that makes her somehow important? What is even more disturbing is that she said this out loud and must actually think many people will believe her. These people are evil but I don't suspect they are stupid. They did this intentionally because they think it is to their advantage. Is the American public really going to buy this? The sad thought is that they just might fall for it.

There is a cartoon about Hillary's efforts to present herself as less centrist and more progressive... its called "agenda reassignment."

I saw a cartoon of her where the first frame shows her thinking "There must be something I can do to appear more trustworthy...". The second frame shows her standing next to Bill. Comparatively speaking, it is hard to choose between them in this regard, no??

What with all the lies, deception, duplicity, and what have you, although some appear fairly intelligent, I really can't figure out the Clintonites, the Obama disciples, etc. I usually don't have much truck with Michael Savage, but he did coin the word "sheeple", which I believe defines the large majority of libs/Dems to a "T".

To an extent, all those not directly involved in advocacy of a platform could be considered "sheeple." But somehow, over the long term, they are sometimes wiser than the politicians who play them. It takes a while though... you can fool all of the people some of the time.

I agree Elwood. I do like the word sheeple.

Siarlys--does this mean you are self-defining as a "sheeple"?? Or are you directly involved in advocacy of a platform??

Siarlys Jenkins said...

But, does the word "sheeple" like you?

elwood, if you don't know that I'm directly involved in advocacy of a platform at all times, you haven't been paying attention. But, to coin a phrase, some of my best friends are not.
