George Galloway Unhinged

British comedian and ex-politician George Galloway is all over the tabloids (as usual) as he has missed the deadline to challenge his electoral defeat in Bradford West. Undaunted, he says he is going to run for mayor of London and has reacted negatively to Tony Blair being appointed to some commission fighting anti-Semitism.

I take note of the latter because it is this friend of the Saddam Hussein family clan, Hamas and Bashar Assad who is speaking about anti-Semitism, You might want to tread carefully there, George, especially given your calling me a liar back in 2009 when I raised that very subject with you at UC Irvine.

Update: (Hat tip Siarlys Jenkins)

If George can't get himself elected to anything, he could always join Monte Python.

I'm sure Galloway is flattered by your continued attention. Most of the rest of the world is ignoring him, as he deserves.

I am a fan of comedy, and he is the British successor to Benny Hill. He just doiesn't know it.

Galloway is too pathetic to be funny. Benny Hill didn't pretend to take himself seriously, and neither did Monty Python.

That's it! Monty Python! I'll bet George starred in a couple of those movies. I'll be using that line. Thanks.

Not quite a pristine as my first hat tip, but appreciated nonetheless. (It would be hard to top Mel Gibson starring in a movie about the Mava Marmara, asking the commander of the Israeli commando team "Are you a Jew?")
