Two men with rifles and backpacks attacked police outside our event. A cop was shot; his injuries are not life-threatening, thank Gd. Please keep him in your prayers.
The bomb squad has been called to the event site to investigate a backpack left at the event site.

Pam Geller of Atlas Shrugs is reporting that shots have been fired at the Dallas venue of American Freedom Defense Initiative- sponsored, "Draw Mohammad Day".

The United West was running a live stream on the event. At the 1:19 mark, they are informed of shots outside the building. Within minutes, they had to evacuate the room.

Update: MSNBC says police have confirmed to them that two shooters pulled up to the entrance to the center and shot a policeman outside. They, in turn, were both shot and killed.
At this point, I think we can all turn on our TVs.
It should also be noted that one of the attendees is Dutch politician and critic of Islam, Geert Wilders.
