Boston University Alumni React to Racist Tweets by Professor

After incoming asst. professor Saida Grundy made several offensive statements about whites on her Twitter account, there was a negative reaction from many alumni. As a result, BU has now condemned her comments while maintaining her right to free speech.

So what to do about Professor Grundy? Hell if I know. I always maintain that when bad news comes out of a university, contributing alumni should reconsider their giving. Were I a student at BU, I would avoid this woman's class like the plague.

It is outrageous that we have so much of this division being driven on university campuses. It is "students of color" vs. "privileged whites". Is that healthy?
