Yemen: "We Had No Idea"

National Intelligence chief James Clapper

This is really disturbing. As recently as last September, Obama was calling Yemen a success. Now our embassy has been evacuated in Laurel and Hardy fashion. Houthi rebels are driving embassy vehicles around Sana'a, and another ally has fallen.

And listen to DOS spokeswoman Jen Psaki make excuses to Fox News' Megyn Kelly.

Just consider how easily this could have been another Benghazi, and yet, the embassy people had no US military planes coming to take them out. They had to make their way to the airport on their own, and the Marines had to surrender their weapons.

What has happened to this country?

Houthi may not be the worst thing that could happen to Yemen. They are Shia, so they and al Qaeda will be at daggers drawn to each other, ditto with ISIS. They aren't beloved of the House of Saud either. They probably don't like Israel, but what government of Yemen would?

But the national security director saying "We had no idea..." That's one of the worst performances since the Reagan administration had no idea that anyone in Lebanon might want to bomb a barracks full of sleeping marines.

Yes, this is the example of an Obama success, as you stated "Obama was calling Yemen a success."
Obama's narcissistic personality will allow him to think everything he touches is a success, and that is what concerns me the most as we listen to him and his minions deceive us with disinformation.
