Obama Brings up the Crusades While ISIS Beheads, Crucifies and Burns People Alive

President Obama is acting like he is the Land of Oz while ISIS commits horror after horror in the Middle East. The UN has just released a report accusing ISIS of torturing, crucifying, raping, beheading, and burying children alive. As the same barbarians  burn a captured Jordanian pilot alive and Jordan responds, Obama hosts unnamed US Muslim leaders at a White House reception this week. The press is excluded and the names of these leaders have not been released. To make matters worse, Obama speaks at a prayer breakfast and talks about all the bad things done in the name of Christianity hundreds of years ago.

What planet is this man living on? The answer is that he is living on a planet of his own choosing. He is sticking his head in the sand and allowing these horrors to play out until these barbarians sneak into the US and Europe and commit their acts of barbarity upon us.

While he lectures us about the Crusades and the Inquisition.

Anila Ali has a Facebook page that I think you might like.

She is an American Muslim woman from Irvine who is trying to take Islam back from the Islamists.

She is trying to form a Virtual
Million American Muslims March Against Violent Extremism.

All faiths are welcome to join.

Well, Obama Himself has done it again. As happens with Siarlys with some frequency, Obama has forgotten/ignored his "if/thens, either/ors, and corollaries". I will cite only two instances, and I cannot decide which is more egregious.

With regard to the Crusades/Inquisition, Obama essentially made them morally equivalent to the barbarity of ISIS, et al. He said that they were done in the "name of Christ" (and, by extension, God).

Well. If that is the case, then it must be that Muslims who engage in terrorism must be acting in the "name of Muhammed" (and by extension, Allah); otherwise they would not be screaming "Allahu Akbar" as they are decapitating or burning someone, or shooting up Ft. Hood.

Obama's continuing refusal to connect Muslim/Islamic terrorism to the Muslim/Islamic faith, as he did with Christianity, is an obviously intentional disconnect which goes a long way toward making many think he is at the very least an apologist, if not more, for violent radical Muslims.

The second issue is his comment that 99.9% of Muslims are like "us" and want the same things (peace, order, prosperity, whatever). Nothing, I repeat NOTHING, could be further from the truth.

Pew Research conducted a 2010 (I believe) study in seven (7) of the 49 "Muslim majority nations" which indicated that an average of 22%, or roughly 130 million, of the Muslims resident in these countries alone supported al Quaeda. Studies in the others would undoubtedly identify many additional Muslim extremist supporters, perhaps as least as many as 256-525 million (I believe according to Carnegie), or 80%-164%, of the total U.S. population.

In the U.S., according to both "" and Pew, I believe, we have something like 6.67 million resident Muslims. If the numbers here are at all comparable to the rest of the world (and I do not know why they would not be in that ballpark), that gives us some 1.1-1.7 million radical/extremist supporting Muslims, to include, as an aside, as many as 272,000-425,000 radical "Black Muslims".

So much for Mr. Obama this time.

I read the OC Register article. I will reserve judgment. It sounds good, but don't hold your breath waiting for a million (Muslim) man march.

Secondly, I am finding it increasingly hard to buy into the "hijack" narrative.

Wait... were the Muslims leaders he's hosting leaders of ISIS? Or not?

If he hosts Anila Ali, is that supporting ISIS?

And if ISIS is evil (which it is) does that mean the slaughter of Jews, Christians and Muslims (more or less in that order -- but all three in Jerusalem) by Crusaders is A-OK?
