On Saturday morning, a police officer in Minneapolis was shot and wounded in an apparent ambush while responding to a burglary call. Now we have an arrest, and the suspect, Andrew Neal, is reportedly a member of a black street gang called Mickey Cobras, which is heavily influenced by Islamic ideology.

This is occurring with increasing frequency and is getting a little scary. Although the motivation, nutsy as it is, is at least somewhat different, it is reminiscent of the Black Panthers/Black Liberation Army fools back in the 60's-70's.
