Fousesquawk Film Review: "American Anchor"

Starring Ben Affleck as American Anchor Brian Williams

Directed by Michael Moore

This is a non-stop action war documentary in which Brian Williams flies into the heart of the fighting in the Iraq war. You will sit on the edge of your seat as Williams' helicopter, while on a combat mission, is hit by RPGs and forced to land in a blinding sandstorm in the middle of enemy territory.

You'll hold your breath watching Brian calling his wife back in New York while surrounded by fleeing Iraqi troops.

"I'm ready to come home, Baby. I'm ready to come home."

You'll see Brian in warm moments back home in New York enjoying his respites from the battlefield and blowing off steam with his  Band of Brothers, who are always there for him watching his back.

Here's a scene of Brian recounting his exploits before a gushing David Letterman.

"Shucks. I'm no hero."

Alas, it all ends tragically and ironically when-instead of being killed by fleeing Iraqi troops, Brian is done in by someone he thought he could trust.

Fousesquawk gives it two thumbs up. Rolling Stone raves: "Don't miss this story of a true American hero."

Steven Spielberg did not want to Produce "American Sniper". So, will Steven try to make it big with the "American Anchor"?
I hear that Brian has taken a leave of absence from the Peacock station. Maybe he is available to play himself.
