White House Hack Eric Schultz

Is the Taliban a terrorist organization?

Not according to White House spokeshole Eric Schultz when pinned down about the deal that freed Bowe Bergdahl in Afghanistan. Watch as this mealy-mouthed hack dances around a reporter's question about the Taliban.

Gee. Schultz wasn't nearly so mealy-mouthed when he reportedly screamed obscenities at then-CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson when she had the "effrontery" to ask questions about Operation Fast and Furious.

Is this a modern day case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde?

Was the Wehrmacht a terrorist organization? How about the SS? For that matter, were Nathan Bedford Forrest and John Hunt Morgan terrorists? Didn't the government of the USA exchange prisoners with all of the above?

Prisoner exchange isn't about the integrity of your opponent, its about "we got some of yours and you got some of ours -- wanna trade?"

So who were NB Forrest and JH Morgan? Can I Google them?

You sure can. They fought in an ancient conflict that most people have forgotten. It was called "The Civil War." Unfortunately, Bruce Catton's history of the conflict was lost in the fire that burned the great library of Alexandria when the Christians invaded Egypt.
