Caroline Glick on Anti-Semitism in France and the BDS Movement

Hat tip Jerusalem Post and Frontpage Magazine

Jerusalem Post writer Caroline Glick writes with a clear-eyed point of view when it comes to topics like Israel and anti-Semitism. In this piece in the Jerusalem Post, she describes French anti-Semitism and the BDS movement.

It is hard not to conclude that the French have cravenly given in to the Jew-hatred of their Muslim immigrants and in many cases, joined it. Speaking of boycotts, maybe it is time to resume that boycott of French products that Bill O'Reilly launched several years ago.

"Oh, but Fousesquawk! That would be anti-French!"

Indeed.

I also concur with Glick's criticism of the ADL and American Jewish Committee. Under Abe Foxman's leadership, the ADL  has been unwilling to speak out against anti-Semitism that is Islamic in origin. A case in point: UC Irvine, where the Orange County ADL has said nothing through the years of anti-Israel agitation and anti-Semitic rhetoric spewing forth on our campus. It is rather disconcerting for this Gentile to be challenging and calling out speakers for their anti-Semitic poison while the ADL rep stands back in the rear and says nothing. Ditto that for the empty suits of the Jewish Federation of Orange County. As for the AJC, they had the chutzpah to give an award to the chancellor of UCI a few years back-for what I have no clue. Now we learn that the ADL and AJC are taking the side of the BDS crowd. Wonderful.
