David Wood on the Nairobi Mall Massacre

Hat tip Answering Muslims

David Wood of Answering Muslims has posted the below video in which he comments on the Nairobi mall massacre and focuses on the delusions of President Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron (who may well just be Great Britain's last prime minister).

As I normally do when posting videos of Irish commentator Pat Condell on this painful issue, I invite my Muslim readers to chime in and debate the words in the video. Thus far, nobody has taken me up on my offer.

The only point of interest in this bigoted screed is the information that the Shabab were actually running a store in the mall for a year before the operation was executed. Early commentaries highlighted that they couldn't have simply brought in the kind of heavy equipment they used on the day of, and that they had stored weapons on the mall premises in advance.

Now there is something to act on. Mall vendors need to be vetted, and perhaps even storage areas inspected. Even under the First Amendment in this country, commercial activity has always been less protected from intrusion than personal, private, speech and property. (Corruption among Kenyan border guards also appears to have been a factor -- not pro-Shabab corruption, just available for sale to anyone corruption).

For the rest, Wood's primary point seems to be that "the Muslims" didn't riot in response to the Shabab massacre as they did in response to those silly Danish cartoons. Well, most likely, those who rioted didn't have such a problem with the Shabab action, while those who were revulsed by it, weren't motivated to riot at all. Besides, who would they target with their rioting?

Its psychopathic to target the nearest available Catholic nun because some atheist published in Copenhagan published a cartoon, but who would David Wood have anti-Shabab Muslims riot against? Any ethnic Somali who might be found living in Beirut? Should they be strung up from the nearest lamp post, even though they might be in Beirut because the Shabab put a price on their head?

David Wood leans back in his comfortable armchair in a comfortably furnished library, spouting ignorant, off the top of his empty head, nonsense, and the video image accords perfectly with the integrity of his speech.

Siarlys,

Hunh?

As usual, you get lost and wind up on the other side of the country. Noting that you are a Milwaukee bus driver by profession, I would hate to get on your bus. No telling where I would end up-probably Tallahassee.

On the contrary, Wood speaks perfect common sense backed up by his knowledge of the Koran. Add that to the daily horrors going on in the world, he brings it together quite well so that anyone (except you) can understand.

Cut down some trees. There's a forest out their for your viewing pleasure.

David Wood always has the best riffs. They are always filled with observable phenomenon, prima facia evidence, and common sense conclusions.

Well I knew that was your opinion, otherwise you wouldn't have wasted bytes showing him off to us. But can you offer any facts or reasoning why any of the rest of us should take this seriously?

You always talk about forests and trees when you can't come up with a single logical or rational refutation of what I just said.

I've identified a logical flaw in Wood's argument. Can you put it back together again? Can Miggie explain the "common sense" of his conclusion, or even his second premise, which is the weakest point? Or is Miggie just fond of the words "common sense" because they sound good?
