George Galloway, "I Don't Get No Respect"

George Galloway, the funniest man in Britain since Benny Hill died, is losing what few friends and admirers he has plenty fast. Women have learned that the flaky Galloway and his Respect party are little more than a rowdy boys' club since Georgie made his defensive comments in praise of Julian Assange, who has some sort of sex crime accusation hanging over his head in Sweden.

It seems George has been steadily losing friends for several years now.

Many have simply died off, like the Husseins of Iraq, for example.

Of course, he still has the Assads of Syria, but they may not be around much longer.

I suppose Yvonne Ridley is still around.

(Hat tip Cory Thomson)

Then there are the boys of Hamas, always ready to give Georgie a Gaza passport for whatever that's worth.

Eventually, Georgie will end his days in quiet solitude forgotten by all but a few dictators, radical Islamists, and comedy fans.

"It is the year 2020. George Galloway, now retired and living alone after his 7th wife divorced him, sits in his study, surrounded by mementos from his past. Nobody visits any more. Nobody calls. Yet, he sits by the fire every day thinking about the past as he waits, and waits....................."

I still think Yvonne Ridley looks like a character from "The Lion in Winter."
