Was There a Shooting in Washington Last Week?

Hat tip PJ Media

"No news is good news"

Andrew Klavan has an interesting piece in PJ Media about the minimum coverage given by certain elements of the mainstream media to the shooting last week at the Family Research Council. Depending on where you go for your news, you may not have even known a shooting occurred.

Just as bad as the spin that the media tends to put on news events, is the fact that they can pick and choose which news to highlight, report-or not report at all. So when a gay rights volunteer walks into the Family Research Council and starts shooting, the incident is downplayed because the FRC is opposed to gay marriage, stands for traditional family values, and it thus, designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

You know; maybe it never really happened after all.
