MSNBC Reaches for the Depths With Toure (LNU)

Hat tip Daily Caller

MSNBC is full of daffy characters, who have brought the cable news network to the depths of the industry. Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Martin Bashir, Rachel Maddow, Al Sharpton and Lawrence O'Donnell are the laughing stocks of an industry already in the toilet with the American public due to its lack of credibility and objectivity.

Not content with that, MSNBC is already grooming another absurd figure in the person of a young man who goes by the moniker of Toure (that's with an accent over the "e', no less.)  I don't know where they got this guy, but today on the new MSNBC show, The Cycle, which features a panel consisting of three liberals and one conservative (S.E. Cupp), Toure set a new standard for a gutter attack when he referred to what he called "Mitt Romney's 'niggerization' of President Obama". Congratulations, Toure. You have invented a new word-a variant of a word we keep trying to get rid of in the English language.

Of course, this was a response to Romney's reaction to Joe Biden's absurd comment in a speech this week that the Republicans are trying to "put y'all back in chains". Romney used the word, "angry" to refer to the Obama campaign, and bingo! To Toure, that's code for racism. I suspect Toure must be using Chris Matthews' secret decoder ring.  Kudos to Cupp for pointing out the obvious hypocrisy in Toure's statement.

The sad fact is that Obama's surrogates at MSNBC are only too happy to help make this a racially-charged election in favor of the man who we all thought was going to bridge the racial divide in this country and bring us together. I think the words were "hope and change".
