Obama "Kicks Off" Re-Election Bid???

Check out the headline on the below Fox report

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/05/05/obama-officially-begins-re-election-campaign-in-ohio-virginia/

(The Fox News link reads, "Obama Kicks Off Re-election bid.)

Now you all know I love Fox News, and I make no apologies for that. Yet, I think a little nit-picking is in order.

Where the Hell have you been, Fox?

What about all those trips to LA jumping from one fund raiser to the next while traffic is at a standstill? What about that George Clooney extravaganza that's in the works?

Barack Obama has been in campaign mode almost since he took office. That is what he does best-campaign and make speeches. From the first day he became a US senator, he was campaigning for the presidency. I have been getting campaign alerts and requests for 3 dollars from the White House for what- a year? Campaign is all this guy does-when he's not taking another vacation in Martha's Vineyard or Hawaii.

If the re-election bid is just kicking off, why is it that the mad-hatters at MSNBC have been attacking all the Republican candidates, especially whoever was in the lead, throughout the primaries?

"I tell ya, folks, that #$%^* Perry, Gingrich, Santorum, Romney......."

Here's a related news flash: The Chicago Cubs have kicked off their 2012 season.

8 and 17 if I'm not mistaken-and losing to the Dodgers today 5-0.

Here's Charles de Gaulle "kicking off" his heroic Normandy invasion in 1944.

Here's John Edwards "kicking off" his vice-presidential bid with John Kerry in 2004

.
"Yes, and when John Kerry and I are in the White House, Christopher Reeves is going to get up out of that wheel chair and walk again."

Here are the Cleveland Browns (and their fans) "kicking off" last year's run for the Super Bowl.

Here's Charlotte Bobcats president Michael Jordan "kicking off" the off-season as his team finishes 7-59.

The operative word is "officially."
