Nigel Farage's Greatest Hits- 25 November 2009

British EU delegate Nigel Farage is in rare form as he lets his colleagues have it again in Strasbourg on November 25, 2009. This time, his targets are the Lisbon Treaty, the EU President Herman van Rompuy (The Belgian Waffler) and fellow British member the Baroness Kathy Ashton. Enjoy.

Rare form indeed, but a bit out of date. Has he said anything witty LATELY?

Incidentally, I appreciate that he seems to think President Obama is worth the relatively small salary he is paid, relative to the larger sum paid to Van Rompuys.

Siarlys,

On a slow day, I like to dig up some of his speeches. They may out-of-date, but the topic is not. Plus they are entertaining.

Don't you have a protest to attend?

I can't get away to Madison Gary. I have to be in Milwaukee Mon-Thurs, teaching chess classes at area schools and tutoring two high school students who are refugees from one of the more odious military regimes the U.S. has tolerated through the last nine or eleven presidential administrations. Also I have writing deadlines.

I have approached some union people I know about a "We support our state senators" rally in Milwaukee, but they may be too busy going to Madison.

Caesar had his Brutus, Charles I had his Cromwell, Ben Ali had his Bouazizi, and Scott Walker may profit from their example.
