One New Heart Resumes Work in Israel

I am happy to report that Hank and Michele Danniker have been able to return to Jerusalem to continue their One New Heart program, which provides surgery by Israeli doctors to Palestinian children suffering from heart defects. To those of my readers who contributed to the program's financial needs, I thank you. This is a great program to support. A link can be found on this site.

Here are my last two reports from Hank.

"Good Morning,

As Michele & I sit to write this email a flood of thoughts and emotions fill our minds and hearts. We have just signed the Ministry Agreements with BICWM and in eight hours, God willing our family will be on a jet headed back to our home in Jerusalem. For this we are very thankful to BICWM (its leaders and staff), to you and to God be all the Glory! For the past three weeks we as a family have been hard pressed and today our burden has been lifted. We would like to report the great progress we have made, but because of the holidays we don't have an exact number in hand, but we do believe we are only several thousand short of the 100% we need to raise. Again and again we cannot thank you enough for closing the huge gap and giving in such a unselfish and loving way. The impact of your giving has been priceless; it has given our family such confidence in your love and the love of the Father to equip those He has called, we will never forget!!! As it stands right now we have a provisional agreement for three months in Israel, if the full amount comes in and we are certain it will, then BICWM will provide us with a two year agreement.

Apart from all of this we are ready to engage the kingdom of darkness and by the Spirit of God, together we will punch holes in the darkness to let the light of Jesus Chris'ts unconditional love for all men to see. We will hit the ground running, for there is so much work to be done in so many directions. But know for certain of our love and our complete understanding of being connected to the vine. We will do our best to keep you as an integral part of Jesus' vision in the middle east as we walk out this call for time and eternity! On this note we send our deep appreciation to you our closest friends, as we begin our departure. If it be Hashem's will we will write to inform you of our next steps from Jerusalem.

With heartfelt love and peace,

Hank, Michele, AbbyRose, Levi & Moriah

Good morning Friends and Family,

This is just a brief note to let you all know that we are in our home in Jerusalem, having arrived safely....with all our suitcases late yesterday afternoon. The children did so well on the flights; Moriah didn't sleep much at all, but they are all sleeping soundly now, and are happy to be among their own things and in their own beds! (As are Dad and Mom!)

There were a few glitches here and there along the way, but God was faithful and it feels wonderful to be back in our home again.

I am sure we will write more a bit later;but for now, we just wanted to say hello, and to thank you for your prayers of safe travel for us!!

Thank you so much for filling in the valleys, so we could walk on solid ground!

With grateful hearts,

Hank, Michele, and family

Thanks for covering this. We need more people like One New Heart. Some day perhaps Hindu babies will be flown to Palestine for surgery too.
