Harry Reid Saves the World

In yet another amazing lollapaloozer, Harry Reid tells MSNBC's butter and egg man, Ed Schultz, that were it not for him (Harry Reid), we would all be in a world-wide depression.

I'm getting a better impression of Harry Reid all the time. Thanks Gary. He didn't say, "but for me we WOULD be in a world wide depression." He said it's not much of a sound byte, not much solace to voters, to run such a line. Voters, as we all know, want to know "What have you done for me LATELY?"

It is perfectly valid to say that but for the measures taken by the Obama administration and the leadership in congress, we WOULD be in a world wide Depression right now. Who says so? My mother, the Republican in the family, who grew up during the last Depression.

I hope you like the latest posting on Harry.

"It is perfectly valid to say that but for the measures taken by the Obama administration and the leadership in congress, we WOULD be in a world wide Depression right now."

Of course it is, Siarlys.

Thank God for Harry Reid.

Of course you can say it but it would be dead wrong. We know the direction Obama took and everything got worse. It has been like trying to put out a fire by throwing gasoline on it. He took a bad economic situation and turned it into a catastrophe. The country is in incredible debt and there is nothing to show for it. It is mere speculation to say it would have been worse but for Obama. It is more logical to speculate that things would have better without him. His hostility to business and wealth sharing programs have hurt the economy.

And don't forget Nancy Pelosi. What you Republicans really won't forgive her for is she launched the strategy to take away your majority during the Bush years. Sour grapes my friend, sour grapes.

As a local businessman who is hiring observed, Miggie, "Obama stopped the bleeding. We aren't adding a lot of jobs yet, but we're not seeing thousands more out of work every week."

"What you Republicans...."

Who's a Republican here?

"Obama stopped the bleeding"

LOL. Stopped the bleding? He amputated both legs and forgot to sew them up.

If he had amputated both legs and forgot to sew them up, unemployment would be running at 50%, and a special UN-IMF task force would be assuming control of the United States, backed by a military force from India, Brazil and China.

I have always thought that Karl Rove was a Chinese agent. His mission was to find a nice, good-looking, suggestible young man to run for president, who could be led to stop paying off the national debt, run up huge deficits, finance them by mortgaging our country to the Bank of China, and throw us into a debt-induced economic tailspin, while China built magnificent subways, a high speed rail network, not to mention a military apparatus we can't afford to take on in direct conflict.

Karl Rove................

Well, if a local businessman who is hiring said it, that must prove the case that Obama is following the right economic policies. Either that or Siarlys is embarrassingly provincial.

That's so typical of the Left ... No matter how bad the results of their policies, they never acknowledge error, only that they didn't do enough (go even further into debt with nothing to show for it) or do it soon enough.

While blaming the Republicans for the "mess" most forget that the Democrats have been in the majority inboth the house and Senate since 2006. If the Republicans were responsible for excessive spending since then where were all the Democratic votes against those bills?

I'll declare victory. The left has taken over the down home patriotism of being "embarrassingly provincial" from the capitalist tools. Oh, I forgot. I'm not a leftist, and Miggie doesn't have enough wealth to be a capitalist. He's just a crusty old man with and attitude that, if Lenin were a tycoon, might have led him to describe Miggie as a "useful idiot."

Miggie said...

Yes, all you have to do is to "Declare Victory" and you win. That is just about the same as your local businessman who opines on the progress of the Obama economic policies.

That is ridiculous enough but the rest of your post is so obtuse that I don't know what the hell it is you are talking about. How you have been able to quantify my net worth is beyond me. Especially, from someone who admittedly is planning on relying on his social security for income after he retires. I can see now why it is you always express the views of those who are at the trough, demanding, as some kind of entitlement, that those of us who have produced wealth are somehow obliged to support you.

If Lenin (!) were some kind of tycoon .... what the hell does that even mean??? You must be off your meds as you make no sense at all, and it is fast approaching the point when it will not be worth the effort any longer to even try.

Keep tying yourself up in your own ball of rhetorical twine Miggie. You get more incoherent with every splutterance.
